Project 2
For this project we needed to accomplish three tasks. Transposing, Using FPC, and using the chop function. Once I had found out that we need to do transposing in this peice I was instantly inspired by a song. In Take a Bow by Muse, one of the solo chords in the beggining of the song gave me the perfect idea of what to do for my lead guitar but just a litte faster. As for the FPC, I played around with it for a little while untill I got a drum beat similar to the one in Beat It by Micheal Jackson. Finally, for the bass I wanted something simple like something from an old 8-bit video game. Smashing these inspirations lead me to my final composition embedded above. Enjoy!

This is also a good loop. i like this guitar the best. it makes this good. the bass and the drums are good, but you can barely hear them. I am not sure if this is supposed to be just a guitar solo or not, since that's what it sounds like.
ReplyDeleteI like the way that you started the loop out by building up to the guitar coming in. Using the drums into the bass was a good idea. All the instruments used are at just the right level which makes the loop even though it is short sound good. Nice Job.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above comments, but I find that the guitar part should transpose along with the bass. They clash in a few areas.
ReplyDeleteI liked this loop, but i felt like the guitar needed a little more introduction to it. I felt that it just randomly came in at one part. I really liked your transpose and the drum beat.
