Drum Loops Project 1
I made this song because I was inspired by some of the drum beats I heard earlier in the year, at the football games. One night in particular I was walking back to the band room with some friends and I happened to be right near the percussionists. Their beats were so awesome I couldnt get them out of my head. I knew this was my chance to incorperate what I had heard, with alittle remix of my own.

This is a good loop. I like the nice beat. But this loop is missing and ending though. if you had taken the clap and chopped it or something of the sort, it would have made this perfect.
ReplyDeleteI like how you said you like the percussionist beats but i didn't here crash symbals, just kidding I only said that because that is what i played. But this is good its a mix between marching and pop which i have never heard before, nice. What i liked the most was that you didn't start everything off at once you had snare come in later so i didn't have everything thrown at my face at once i got time to absorb the fisrt part before the second came in. Since I don't know to much about marching pop i can't say you need to fix anything this is very good.
ReplyDeleteI really like it. The kick drum drives the groove, and the multiple mid range sounds you selected offer great variation. There's rim shot, a snare and claps that all work.
ReplyDeleteGood use of the cymbals, and I agree with Morgan that the ending could have been stronger.
